So with no weddings to shoot for most of this year, I have spent the time doing all sorts of things including, most recently, some lovely family portraits in the Autumn leaves. It has been nice to have a sense of normality, to be out and about with my camera and to meet up with families, some of whom I have known for years.

Most recently, I spent a morning with Emily and Rob and their 3 children out in the field here and we also wandered over to the lake to play Pooh Sticks and some other games. I have known Emily and Rob since I photographed their wedding years back so it was so nice to see them again. The last time I saw them William was still a baby and there he was, the same age and height as my own daughter and running around.

We had a few tea, coffee and biscuit breaks and sat outside the studio to make the most of the sunshine. The boys also picked some apples and went home with a bag full to make a big crumble – my favourite Winter pudding!

Here are a few favourites from their shoot.
