As usual at this time of year, it is peak wedding season and I am a bit behind with my blog so I’ll try and get back on track. A few weeks back, I photographed Claire and Phil’s wedding in Westbury on Trym and Eastington Park. It was one of those lovely summery days that people often hope for when planning their wedding so they were very lucky!
I know Westbury on Trym church quite well and as I arrived, Phil and some guests were chatting outside the front. It wasn’t long before the girls arrived too in lovely grey bridesmaids’ dresses (very in this season!) that went really well with the flowers.
After the service, everyone showered them with confetti and we headed off to Eastington Park in Stonehouse for the reception. As it was so nice, guests had drinks and canapés on the terrace and the children loved running around the lawn and looking a the cows in the next door field. I had a look around the dining room and noticed that the tables were named after the couple’s favourite wines – a nice idea and they also had really effective pink and purple lighting. After dinner, it was a balmy evening for coffee and some fun on the big swing outside before their first dance.
Here are some favourite images from their day:
