October has possibly been the busiest month of the year for me so far with several weddings and lots of lovely family portrait sessions in the Autumn leaves. I am a bit behind with blogging so I will try and get back on track over the next week!

A week ago on Saturday I photographed Hannah and Greg’s wedding at Guyers House in Corsham. I was there into the evening and have got so many nice images that I am going to blog their wedding in 2 parts – this one covering up until the ceremony.

I have really enjoyed getting to know Hannah and Greg since they booked me so I was really looking forward to their wedding. Luckily it was a beautiful day with gorgeous sunshine which made the grounds of the House look stunning.

When I arrived, Hannah was getting ready with bridesmaids Olivia, Bree and Lauren and her Mum Judy and Greg’s Mum Sandra. Hair and make up, done by a friend of mine Clare (www.purepampering.co.uk)  were well underway and from Hannah’s room we had a great vantage point over the front of the house so we could see all the comings and goings!

Guyers House has a  great stable bar which is nice for wedding guests as it means they can relax with a drink when they arrive. I popped downstairs to see Greg and his Best Man and Ushers Matthew, Tom, Mark and Jake and before too long they made themselves comfortable in the bar for a pre-wedding tipple!

Back upstairs, Hannah got into her beautiful Maggie Sottero gown which looked amazing. She also had a lovely crystal and feather hairpiece instead of a veil which was a lovely touch and suited her perfectly.  The girls all wore a mixture of aubergine and dark lilac which were lovely strong colours for this time of year.

Here are some of my favourite images. Watch this space for part 2:
