Before I write about weddings in the last couple of weeks, I just wanted to post the last set of images from Bhavani and James’ wedding in Scotland.
Last time I left off with Bhavani arriving with a coconut to give James at the start of the ceremony, which involved lots of intricate parts including lighting a fire, Bhavani and James placing flower garlands around each other – and my personal favourite, a game trying to be the first person to get a wedding ring out of a big jar of water. Although they both put quite a lot of effort into this Bhavani won to cheers and applause particularly from the female guests!
At the end of the ceremony Bhavani and James were tied together with a sash which meant that for the drinks reception they had to move around and chat to guests together. Brides and Grooms to be – take note! This is a great way to make sure you spend some time together on the day! James’ Mum had spent a lot of time restoring the old Rose Garden so guests wandered around while having drinks and enjoyed the stunning view.
Later on after dinner, I photographed the speeches and some absolutely fantastic dancing during the ceilidh! At one point I did fear for my cameras with all the arms and legs flaying around!
Here are some of my favourite images:
