Would you like to really remember your wedding day?

Would you like to look back and really remember your wedding or civil partnership even years and years later?  Be taken back to what you felt like; the special moments, details and people all around you that made it unique?

I really hope you do because wedding photographs are SO important and a wedding is a day like no other. Even if you don’t really like having your picture taken or are having a small, intimate celebration (it might even be you and a few family and friends or just the two of you) wouldn’t it still be wonderful to have some natural, relaxed images that transport you back to that day?  Time goes so fast and memories can fade and families change….. Call me an old softie at heart, but isn’t celebrating and cherishing those special moments in life what it’s all about?

I am (fairly obviously!) a female wedding and portrait photographer and live in the beautiful Chew Valley between Bristol and Bath and just up the road from the best fish and chip restaurant ever….  I have a calm, peaceful and welcoming studio right by Chew Valley Lake and love making my clients a giant cup of their favourite tea  (I have quite a selection!) or a frothy coffee and sitting down for a chat about you and what you are planning for your day.  I photograph weddings in a documentary, relaxed and very natural way, wandering around and capturing what is actually happening, rather than setting shots up or asking people to ‘pose’  (something which most of us can find a bit awkward!).  I photograph weddings across Bristol, Bath, Somerset, South Wales and the South West area.

I really love wedding photography and regularly photograph weddings at some of the South West’s best venues including, Thornbury Castle, Bristol Zoo, Clearwell Castle, Old Down Manor, Ston Easton Park, Charlton House, Maunsel House, Orchardleigh House, Kingscote Barn, The Matara Centre, Priston Mill, Babbington House and Coombe Lodge and I am proud to be a recommended supplier to many venues locally. I also love low key weddings in quiet settings and country fields. From beaches, barns, marquees and tipi weddings to churches, castles and grand estates, I have been a wedding photographer for over ten years and still find excitement and magic in every wedding I photograph.

I also specialise in relaxed, natural family portrait photographs and capturing special events like christenings, birthdays, anniversaries and family get togethers; any time people want to celebrate and then be able to look at pictures afterwards that make you smile!

I hope you enjoy looking at my website and my most recent work on the blog. If you’d like to be able to remember your own very special day with a set of images that you love, that make you smile and that, sometimes, touch the soul, then please do have a click through the rest of the website and get in touch as I would love to hear from you!.
