So like a lot of people, this time of year is frantic in our household so I am a bit behind with my blog….In an effort to catch up here are some pictures from Sophie and Matt’s wedding a few weeks back at Thornbury Castle, near Bristol. Sophie had possibly the most beautiful headdress I have ever seen that is something of a family heirloom passed down to the women in her family to wear on their wedding day. It was absolutely stunning and in amazing condition considering how old it is. Now that is vintage done with class!

After the ceremony we were really lucky to have a break in the weather and managed to get outside for a while to take some pictures. The breeze was quite strong and Sophie looked like a film star with her veil being carried by the wind! Sophie’s mum had made some lovely flower petal confetti which everyone showered over them just as the rain started so we retreated inside. The castle was warm and cosy for drinks and nibbles and soon it was time for dinner and dancing. Here are a few of my favourite pictures from their day:
