I think Becky and Giles probably had one of the most romantic weddings I have ever been to; an idyllic woodland clearing decorated with hearts and flowers among the hay bales and fairy lights hung in the tree branches. It was also really special as this lovely setting was in the grounds of Giles’ family farm.
Becky was getting ready nearby with her bridesmaids and it must have been nice to spend some time with her close friends and enjoy a glass of bubbles before the main part of the day started. The flowers were lovely rustic country flowers in beautiful soft colours and they suited the relaxed feel of the day perfectly. It was quite a walk down a steep hill to get to the woodland (not necessarily easy in a wedding dress!) but Becky, her Dad and the girls managed it just fine. The two little flower girls threw petals onto the forest floor and Giles looked delighted to see his Bride.
Becky and Giles had a few visits from sons Harry and Wilf during the ceremony, both of whom looked adorable in little suits! The couple had written their own vows and the entire ceremony was very personal and special. Guests showered them with confetti and we all headed back up the hill to the marquee for drinks and canapés with a view. The children (and quite a lot of the adults!) loved the whacky sunglasses and everyone got a special welcome from Harry (wearing his star glasses!). Dinner was a choice from 3 different and totally delicious Paellas. As a Spanish food fan myself I tucked in and thoroughly enjoyed it. After dinner there was more fun to be had with the photobooth, face painting and dancing. It was a lovely day to be a part of and here are a few of my favourite pictures from their day:
