Helen and Scott got married a few weeks back in Pensford Church, a beautiful spot just by the river and an idyllic place to get married. I lived in Pensford for 7 years and used to love walking the dog down to the church across the fields, so it was really nice to be back.

Helen and her family and bridesmaids were getting ready up in the village so I started up there before heading down to the church. I enjoyed watching the horses and carriage arrive and the horses get into their finery as well! Helen had chosen pastel pinks and blues for the girls dresses and the flowers, done by the lovely Liz at Pipley Flowers (http://pipleyflowers.com) so everything had a light fresh, summery feel.

It was amazing to hear the clip clopping of the horses’ hooves coming down the hill to church and we could see their feather headdresses over the top of the hedge! During the service, Helen and Scott’s little girl Rosanna decided to take them some flowers from her basket as well, which was a very cute moment!

Afterwards, we drove over to the Sartan Club for their reception, lots of delicious food, wine and cake!
